Modern nightlife can feel overwhelming, crowded, and impersonal, making it difficult for people to find meaningful and memorable social experiences. Speakeasies offer a sense of mystery, intimacy, and escapism, creating a space where guests can step out of the ordinary world and feel part of a hidden, shared experience that feels both personal and special.

The concept is to solve a brief 15-minute escape room with an “alchemist’s lab” theme to gain access to the speakeasy. By solving a series of puzzles, they earn the key that unlocks the hidden door to the bar itself.

The entrance of the speakeasy leads into a waiting room and wine bar where people can drink and converse while waiting for their reservation time. Guests will be required to turn in their phones to prevent the secret of noctilume from being released via social media. Once in the escape room, the customer will be transported into the alchemist’s laboratory. With beakers, ingredients, and bookshelves all filled with hidden clues. Once the puzzle is solved, the bookshelf will open to reveal the speakeasy. Once in the bar, you are immersed in color, mood lighting, and a variety of different tones and textures. The stage for live music is at the front of the bar with a 70s-style conversation pit surrounding it so the performances can be viewed both up close and from the seating areas in the back. The overall theme of alchemy is present but not overdone. It is intended to be classy, elevated, and eclectic.
