Artist Statement

For this project, I really wanted to include the blue patina on brass because they go really well together in my opinion. I decided to do a pair of earrings because I knew I could attempt rivets for the first time with this design. I also chose to do a hammered texture on the brass to balance out the texture on the patina as well.
